Lori Senecal is the global CEO of CP+B (Crispin Porter+ Bogusky). Her newly acquired role requires her to watch over the company’s growth and expansion globally, run the harmonization of the corporation’s nine international offices and concentrate on the firm’s constant global development.
The organization has undergone an enormous change under her leadership since she joined in 2015. These changes include the company’s growth both geographically and across disciplines, which have bagged it recognition by Advertising Age among “Creativity Innovators of the Year” and Lori as one of the “Agency Executives to watch in 2016”. Before being selected as the Global CEO of CP+B, Lori was the President and CEO of the MDC Partner Network. She was responsible for steering the Network’s strategic vision, expanding the firm’s model and growing the partner agencies by bringing about cross-collaborations. Ms. Senecal will concurrently serve in her new position and that of President-CEO at MDC Partner Network.
Lori leaves an admirable trace of improvement of companies. She served as Global Chairman and CEO of KBS+ (Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal+ partners) before joining the MDC partner agencies. While she served, the company’s staff grew three-fold. Crain’s acknowledged this effort and named it One of the ” Best Places to work in New York City” and as one of the “Standout Agencies” by Advertising Age for three years, back to back.
According to an interview conducted by The Huffington’s Post, Ms. Senegal attributes her bold identity and achievements to her growth as a child where she successfully tried to escape the shadow of her talented siblings. She says that this taught her to dream big and be daring. Ms. Senecal states that the main lesson from her career is to create leadership opportunities rather than waiting for them. She also pointed out the two main problems for women at the workplace as being passive and being afraid to embrace challenging opportunities and advised them to move towards their fears as adventures rarely come from staying in one’s comfort zone. Ms. Senecal mentioned that her inspiration came from Liz Lemon of 30 Rock because she was unapologetically herself despite the ‘conformist’ entertainment business.
