Being an animal lover and trying to help out animals are two totally different things. If you see a stray cat on the side of the road and it is injured, do you call someone to come help the cat or do you put the cat in your car and drive to the closest vet? If you pick up the cat, you’re an animal lover like Bob Reina. He is so much of an animal lover that he is known to rescue dogs and cats. Currently in his home, there are 3 basset hounds, a lab mix and a unfortunate pup who wrestled with an alligator and lost a leg. Not only are there 5 dogs in the house, there are also a number of stray cats which have come to know Bob Reina’s home as their own.
Bob was raised to be an animal lover and it is his belief that for animals, they are unable to help themselves much and for this reason, we must help them instead. You have to be able to show support for the cause and Bob does just this. He has a strong focus on the causes for animal rescues. He is just unwilling, most likely at least, to not rescue one himself. After all, if he does, he will need to hire a third housekeeper to help the two he already has. Serving as an ex county sheriff in Hillsborough County, Bob went from protecting people to protecting animals. He is most commonly known for his company in technology as Talk Fusion. With all the success he has achieved through the business, he has been luck enough to donate to animal causes along the way.
Back at the beginning of the year, Bob donated $250,000 during a gala that is held yearly. This gala goes to support the Humane Society in Tampa Bay. After the closure of this gala and later on in the year, Bob also wrote a check for $750,000. This amount of money will instead be used to create a vet service which will serve those who are less fortunate and who cannot afford routine checkups for their pets.
